Everything
around me was dark,
And the sky
held high.
Somewhere
nearby I heard a dog bark,
Holding back
tears I said, ‘goodbye’.
I became
completely isolated when you went away.
Your memories
haunted me now and then.
The night
passed miserably, and so did the day.
The only
place I felt like staying, was my den.
The time
seemed to slither slowly,
Whenever your
face struk my mind.
Everyone
around me was jolly;
But I was
really so blind.
Eventually, a
day arrived when I completely moved on.
That day I felt
the actual sunlight.
All the
retentivity was gone;
That day
ended so quickly, and so did the night.
